Reflexion lets an agent improve through self-feedback without any retraining. After
a failed or completed attempt, the agent writes a natural-language critique of what
went wrong, stores that reflection in episodic memory, and consults it on the next
attempt. This elevates an agent from purely reactive to genuinely self-correcting,
and it foreshadows the memory (EB-5) and evaluation (EB-6) modules — a reflection
is both a memory write and a self-evaluation.
