Behavioral clones of external APIs and SaaS at the boundary—high-volume, deterministic validation without production risk.
A Digital Twin Universe (DTU) is a set of behavioral clones of third-party systems (APIs, SaaS) that replicate observable behavior at the boundary. StrongDM describes using twins for services like Okta, Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace APIs.
Twins enable high-volume validation runs, deterministic conditions, and safe exploration of failure modes—without hitting rate limits or production risk.
