The risks that come with generative design. Because AI models reproduce dominant
patterns from their training data, AI-generated interfaces trend toward sameness, and
usability decisions quietly shift to algorithmic systems — raising questions of
designer responsibility, user manipulation, and accessibility. Students learn to
recognise and resist homogenisation and to keep human judgment in the loop.
